Jaxon has worked over the past 10+ years in developing the next generation of sustainment processes to better serve our DoD and commercial clients.
Sustainment is one of the most critical elements of facility lifecycle management. Jaxon personnel have been performing Hardness Maintenance and Hardness Surveillance (HM/HS) services on Critical Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) facilities for the last 25 years. Given the cost of new construction, sustainment services serve as insurance for the survivability of the mission. Jaxon sustainment services include: Depot-level refurbishment services, non-destructive testing, corrosion control mitigation, failure prediction services and industry leading portable surveillance test systems.
We believe a data driven HM/HS plan is the backbone of a successful sustainment program. Jaxon employs a technical sustainment staff which allows our team to create tailored HM/HS plans for each site. This provides a unique approach for each site and ensures shielding integrity is always maintained.
Key elements of a data driven maintenance program:
• Pre and Post test refurbishment cycles
• CWI Surveillance Services
• Data Trending Analysis
• Low Level Characterization Testing (LLCT)
• Yearly HM/HS plan updates
To combat the degradation to facility shield protection, Jaxon has developed and implemented state-of-the-art corrosion control methods including the removal and coating process that prolong the life of the survivable systems.
We start by locating potential shield anomalies through testing and develop solutions for its removal and coating. This process requires detailed planning a coordination with our customer to minimize the impact to any ongoing mission.
